BGE, in partnership with the National Energy Foundation, sponsors the Natural Gas and Electric Safety Education Program for students and teachers across the service territory. The program provides schools with natural gas and electric safety focused instructional materials, including student take-home booklets that are designed to help create a safer environment for their families. Digital resources accompany classroom materials and include interactive energy safety games, in both English and Spanish, downloadable lesson plans and fun educational videos. All program materials correlate with current teaching standards, STEM and Maryland Science Standards.
