Use the Lingo game with your classroom and follow along with the provided PowerPoint presentation on Natural Gas Safety. Each student will need to be online with their own Lingo card using the Lingo link in the right corner. The Lingo game widget will make a unique card for each student who opens the link. When it’s time for Damage Prevention Lingo in the presentation, pause after reading the question and solicit an answer from students and then click for the appropriate answer to appear. Have students look on their card for the correct answer. If a student has it, they should click on the word and the box will change to a darker hue. Once the card has five marked words in a row, have your students shout out “Lingo!” To get a new Lingo card simply refresh the page to scramble up the words.
