FREE Energy Safe Kids in-class presentations are available to schools in the Detroit metro area, provided by DTE. Teachers and students learn about energy and safety by taking part in an interactive presentation at school by educators from the National Energy Foundation.
2nd, 3rd and 4th Grade classrooms are eligible to participate. Presentations are offered February - April 2024. Availability is limited - register now! Contact [email protected] for more information or to enroll your students.
In-school presentation last about 30 minutes. Teachers may receive a $50 grant for returning Home Safety Scan Forms.
All program content is correlated to Michigan, NGSS and Common Core Standards!
