About Energy Safe Kids
Energy Safe Kids is a program of the National Energy Foundation. Funded in partnership with UniSource Energy Services.
The mission of Energy Safe Kids is to cultivate energy literacy by promoting the safe and wise use of electricity and natural gas. An Energy Safe Kid will Think! about energy issues, Talk! to adults about those issues and Take Action! when needed.
In the spirit of our mission of promoting energy related education and awareness in our communities, the National Energy Foundation (NEF), in partnership with UniSource Energy Services, is pleased to provide the Energy Safe Kids program and this collection of outstanding instructional materials. This program and its materials continually improve to further the many exciting advances in energy safety education and technology.

UniSource Energy Services provides safe, reliable energy to almost 278,000 customers across Arizona. Our natural gas service reaches about 171,000 customers in northern and southern Arizona, while our electric service reaches more than 107,000 customers in Mohave and Santa Cruz counties.

Serving the Community
UniSource Energy Services supports Arizona communities through charitable donations, volunteerism, and environmental initiatives. In 2024, we donated $362,000 in support of nearly 100 charities, while our 111 active volunteers donated 7,016 hours to the causes they care about.
