Be an Energy Safe Kid!
WHAT: Energy Safe Kids is a unique, highly engaging program (45 – 60 minutes) designed to encourage 4th grade students to Think! about energy sources and how to be safe around them whether at home, at school or outside. Students will learn the basics about energy and safety as well as receive a take-home Energy Safety booklet that encourages the student to “Live Smart” by following energy safety precautions at home and at school. Each teacher will receive a collection of teaching materials that include a teacher folder, instructional posters, and access to online supplemental lessons or activities. Materials are correlated to state core content in Science, Social Studies, Health and Wellness.
WHEN: September 26 - October 7, 2022
LOCATION: Your school - Our ENERGY EDUCATORS come into the classroom and teach the lesson for you!
COST: The presentation and all materials are free.*

Energy Safe Kids always Think! about energy issues, Talk! to adults about those issues and Take Action! when needed. The mission of Energy Safe Kids is to cultivate energy literacy by promoting the safe and wise use of natural gas.
